Hello wonderful 4th grade families! Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year. I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year, and I can't wait to meet you all over Zoom! :) While we will face many challenges with distance learning this year, I know if we all work together we can make it a great year. This week you should be receiving the materials you will need at home for distance learning. One of the items that was sent home is our first class novel, Because of Winn-Dixie. This is my class set that I use with my students every year. Please do your best to take care of the books so they can be returned to me later this year. The first day of school is Wednesday, August 19th. We will be meeting as a whole class on Zoom starting at 9am on the 19th. Before our first day of school, I will be updating my class website, and I will send an announcement, with information about how to connect to Zoom for our first day of school. Seesaw will be the digital learning platform that we will use this year. We will have our class set up soon.
