Welcome to Tierra Vista! It is truly a privilege to serve as the principal of a school community filled with wonderful students, dedicated staff, and supportive families.
At Tierra Vista, we want every child to feel that they belong, are valued, and are capable of learning and growing. We work hard to create a school where students feel safe, supported, and challenged, while also having opportunities to develop their confidence, leadership, and independence.
One of the things that makes Tierra Vista special is the diversity of our school community. Our English and Dual Language programs, special education services, and commitment to inclusion bring together students with many different strengths, backgrounds, and needs. We believe in seeing the strengths in every child, presuming competence, and finding ways for all students to participate and be part of our school community.
I also strongly believe that we do our best work when schools and families work together. Your partnership, voice, and involvement are important to us. Whether you attend a school event, volunteer, communicate with your child’s teacher, or simply talk with your child about their day, you are an important part of their success.
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the Tierra Vista community and look forward to continuing to learn, grow, and celebrate together.

¡Bienvenidos a Tierra Vista! Es realmente un privilegio para mí servir como directora de una comunidad escolar llena de estudiantes maravillosos, personal dedicado y familias que brindan un gran apoyo.
En Tierra Vista, queremos que cada niño se sienta parte de nuestra comunidad, valorado y capaz de aprender y crecer. Trabajamos arduamente para crear una escuela donde los estudiantes se sientan seguros, apoyados y motivados, al mismo tiempo que tienen oportunidades para desarrollar su confianza, liderazgo e independencia.
Una de las cosas que hace especial a Tierra Vista es la diversidad de nuestra comunidad escolar. Nuestros programas de Inglés y de Doble Inmersion, los servicios de educación especial y nuestro compromiso con la inclusión reúnen a estudiantes con diferentes fortalezas, experiencias y necesidades. Creemos en reconocer las fortalezas de cada niño, confiar en sus capacidades y encontrar maneras para que todos los estudiantes participen y formen parte de nuestra comunidad escolar.
También creo firmemente que logramos nuestro mejor trabajo cuando las escuelas y las familias trabajan juntas. Su colaboración, su voz y su participación son muy importantes para nosotros. Ya sea que asistan a un evento escolar, sean voluntarios, se comuniquen con el maestro de su hijo o simplemente hablen con su hijo sobre su día, ustedes son una parte importante de su éxito.
Estoy agradecida por la oportunidad de servir a la comunidad de Tierra Vista y espero continuar aprendiendo, creciendo y celebrando juntos.
