Welcome to Fifth Grade

Welcome to fifth grade! What an amazing journey we get to embark on together! A Little About Me This marks my 33rd year in education and my 32nd year here at Tierra Vista. I am excited to be teaching fifth grade this year! I earned my bachelor's degree from UC Santa Barbara and my teaching credential from Azusa pacific University. At Home Learning Schedule

The following is an example of a daily distance learning schedule: Read for at least 30 minutes Write for at least 20 minutes in your journal 20 minutes of exercise Math for at least 30 minutes If you can't get into google classroom, use the links on my page for resources.

Week of June 1

I noticed a lot of great work in Google Classroom, Seesaw, and Freckle last week. Keep up all the great work! This week we will have our regularly scheduled Zoom Meeting. For this week complete 2 to 3 assignments daily Monday through Friday in either Google Classroom or Seesaw.Also work in Freckle for 30 minutes daily and Epic for 30 minutes daily. Distance Learning for the Week of April 27

This is our first official week of distance learning and many students have already started assignments in Google Classroom! Good work everyone! Each week I will continue to have Zoom meetings for students and call home if your child isn't in our Zoom Meeting.
